Aside from ministry, Eddie enjoys cooking, following a collection of sports teams, and spending time with Laura and their dog, Ruby.

Eddie comes to TCU Wesley with experience in urban and rural church settings as well as campus ministry. He is passionate about coming alongside people on their journey to faith in Christ.

Kelly Bertrand

Student President

Hey guys! My name is Kelly Bertrand and I am from Tomball, Texas. I am a junior nursing major here at TCU. My life outside of the Wesley pretty much consists of studying and binge watching my favorite shows. I fell in love with the Wesley because there are always friendly faces here to welcome me, and it’s a place that I know I can grow in my faith.

Raina Armstrong

Leadership Team Member

Hi, my name is Raina and I am a sophomore from The Colony, Texas. I am currently double majoring in Spanish and Youth Advocacy. I love reading, music, and eating Mexican food. The Wesley's small community feel is much different from the megachurch youth group I grew up in, but that's only one of the reasons why I love coming here.

Laura Podschun

Ministry Assistant

Hey, y’all! My name is Laura Podschun, I’m from Winfield, Kansas, and I love to travel and spend time outside! I grew up in a family of 8 kids and now have 9 nieces and nephews! I graduated in May 2020 from Southwestern College (a small school in Kansas) with a degree in Philosophy and Religion to pursue a career in ministry! I felt called to the DFW area and moved to Fort Worth last August. In my free time you’ll find me at a coffee shop with a good friend or a good book. I love to eat and explore new restaurants and would greatly appreciate hearing what your favorite food in Fort Worth is and why!
